Lisa Ferrero '85

Lisa Ferrero, Class of 1985, majored in Mathematics. She retired from Corning Industries as Senior VP & Chief Administrative Officer. Lisa now serves on the SUNY Oneonta Foundation Board of Directors as Chair of the Advancement Committee.

Linda ’76 and Pat ’75 McCann

Linda graduated in 1976, earning a degree in elementary education. A year ahead of her, Pat earned an Economics degree in 1975. Linda and Pat co-Chaired SUNY Oneonta’s most recent fundraising campaign, Grow. Thrive. Live. The Future of SUNY Oneonta, which successfully raised over $33 million to fund the greatest financial needs of current and future students. Linda currently serves as a member of the SUNY Oneonta Foundation Board of Directors. Pat was a member of the Foundation Board from 2014-2020 and served as the president of the board from 2018-2020.

Stan Nosek ’69

Stan (pictured with two scholarship recipients) graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1969 with a psychology degree. After a 40+ year career, Stan retired from UC Davis in June 2010, having served in a variety of administrative leadership assignments. As a staunch supporter of higher education, Stan is currently the interim VP/CFO at San Jose State University.

The ITK Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of two of Stan and Glenn’s fraternity brothers and dear friends, Bob "Chico" Cicio and Kevin Coulman. Stan and Glenn’s support of this scholarship is deeply personal, and they are both proud to see it become a meaningful source of support for SUNY Oneonta students.

Glenn Schafer ’78

Glenn graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1978 with a degree in business economics. Glenn is a labor relations leader and American Airlines pilot who has had more than 35 years of experience with a wide range of labor relations issues, labor contract administration, and collective bargaining agreements.

The SUNY Oneonta Foundation is responsible for administering all charitable gifts and grants made in support of SUNY Oneonta. This includes managing the university's endowment, now valued at over $83.9 million. The SUNY Oneonta Foundation is ranked in the top 1% of all nonprofit organizations for sound fiscal management and a commitment to accountability and transparency.
